“Hinetakawhiti-ki-te-uru is a lake on our sacred mountain, Hikurangi. 

There submerged in a petrified form is the canoe of Māui the Shapeshifter. 

So for me, Tū Takawhiti is about adapting to creative change, 

in and around you, by looking back to go forward! 

Today, anything is possible, and achievable, so keep moving!”
