Assemblage II, He Waka Huri Noa? What Next And Where To Now?
From his studio in Tairāwhiti Gisborne, Sir Derek Lardelli creates stunning pieces of artwork inspired by his vision.
Waka (the canoe) is the main mode of movement, in both life and philosophy. This piece serves as a reminder to remain thoughtful of the journey process.
This one of kind piece is created from native timber (totara) and measures 900 x 250 mm.
The Waka (canoe) will be provided to its new owner upon the close of the exhibition in late November.
